Australian Permanent Resident Visa

Australian Permanent Resident Visa available for Diesel Fitter Mechanic

This Australian Employer is approved by the Australian Immigration Department to Sponsor a suitable applicant for a Permanent Resident Visa.

This Visa allows you to :

  • live and work in Australia on a permanent basis

    study in Australia at school or university

    receive subsidised healthcare through Medicare and the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS)

    be eligible for Australian citizenship (subject to the residency eligibility criteria)

    sponsor people for permanent residence.

If you believe you have the necessary qualifications and are serious about living in Australia, then these are some of the specific job descriptions:

Minimum 38 hour week (one flexi day every 4 weeks) plus Overtime available.
Hourly Rate of AUD$20 per hour
Twenty Paid Holidays per year plus 17.5% Holiday Leave Loading.
Plus Superannuation at 9%

You would need to have successfully passed at least a two year Diploma in Diesel Mechanic or Automotive Technology or similar.

You need to have good English Skills and be able to achieve a 5 score on the IELTS English Test.

Ideally aged between 30 and 45 years of age and ten years experience in this industry.

Duties to include working on:-
Vehicles up to semi trailer and truck and trailer size, mainly rigid trucks.
Earthmoving equipment, bobcats, excavators, loaders, backhoes dozers etc.
Major tools supplied, personal hand tools required (or provided initially if needed)

Need to have or be able to get drivers licence for all types of vehicles worked on before leaving for Australia.
