Australian Business Migration Visa

If the applicant has a background in business or any high level investment activities and plans to invest or start a business in Australia, the applicant and his family may be eligible for a permanent residence visa under the Business Migration Visa. It may be one of these following sub-classes:
Study in Australia, aspiring migrants may be sponsored by their family in Australia under Family Migration Visa

Business Owner Visa

This allows people who are interested in establishing a medium to large business overseas migrate to Australia. Under this class, the process is divided into two stages: provisional (4 years) and then permanent.

Applicants must be at least under 45 years of age and they must have a viable, well-researched Australian business proposal with a past relevant management experience, and a successful business career. Once approved, the applicant will receive a 4-year provisional visa to travel to Australia in order to establish or purchase a business enterprise.

Senior Executive Visa

Senior executives with managerial experience in a large corporation overseas may be eligible for a permanent residence visa. The applicant must establish an investment in an Australian business once they migrated to Australia.

Investment-Linked Visa

Investment-Linked visas are granted to applicants who are experienced in making business investments and have access to substantial capital. Once migrated to Australia, they are expected to engage in business or investment activities. The investment is Government guaranteed and its interest is paid on the investment. Applicants must be at least under 45 years of age if applying for this visa class.

Applicants must have an owned and managed a business or any direct involvement in managing eligible investments, and are required to meet a range of financial/ownership thresholds.

This class will allow a 4-year provisional visa. After which, a permanent visa can be applied for once the investment criteria has been met. Applicants aged between 45 and 55 years old who have not met the above financial requirements may still consider applying under this class.

Existing Business in Australia

This is for applicants who already owned an existing Australian business and are willing to reside in Australia for at least nine months to take a role in managing this business. This business migration class requires capital outlay.
